Various doodles I've made to build onto Unown Falls while working on other things.

I gave Ford weaker Pokemon with high Special attack stats because I think it fits his childhood. He also seems like a monotype kind of trainer to me. I imagine that he's a psychic type magnet. The Reuniclus line is full of weird lil guys with Pokedex entries that fit Ford to a T.

Stan feels like a multitype trainer with Pokemon that are also kinda goofy looking but can hit like trucks. The Conkeldurr line has Guts/Sheer Force and Iron Fist as abilities and it is so appropriate for Stan. I gave him a lot of Pokemon used by villain teams as well. All of his Pokemon have nicknames.

Thank you mod Kirigiri, I really enjoyed it! Of course, now i want more, and have so many questions. Like, the exploratiin teams still exist in tgis world? What's the difference between them and the Detective Society? What Pokemon is everyone (all the main cast: class 77, 78, 79, the major FF members, etc.)? How do the Ultimate talents fit in, assumuing they do? This is such an interesting world, I must know more! Cnt in next ask.

As for him not evolving, that’s fine. Its your AU, you’re the writer, and i appreciate you writing it for me regardless! (Funny thing is, even if he evolved, he would still be smaller than Kyoko. Espeon are 2'11, day and dusk Lycanroc are 2'07 and i cant see Makoto as a midnight one.) Anyway, while I would like to see an evolution, ultimately, you are the writer and can make the choice if you want to write it or not. Cnt in next ask.

That being said, if you were to write one, perhaps an evolution based on protecting Kyoko? Or maybe the other thing I mentioned, them having pups or kittens, (whatever baby eevee are called)? I just need more Naegiri and honestly, I love this AU. Were it not for the large pile stuff I already need to get to writing, i would probably want to write an entire adaptation of this AU myself, haha. With your permission of course. Course, i am swamped, so yeah.

Also, finally, if you wouldnt mind, I dont minf waiting a while for a reply, but if you’re just waiting to respond until the writing the fic is done, I don’t mind. Yoy could respond first, than later on post the fic. Anyway, thanks again Mod Kirigiri, and you did an amazing job.

I… wow. I’m kinda speechless at this all. I didn’t think that post was well received at all. So uh… yeah my face is sufficiently red right now.

Ahem, let’s uh… tackle this one by one, shall we?

This is still a developing AU, so I can’t exactly answer all your questions about it. The Exploration Society and guilds to still exist in this universe (And I mostly included it as a fun nod). But the key difference, as I see it is that the Exploration Society’s goals are just that: exploring mystery dungeons, and saving people along the way if they can.

The Detective Society actively seeks out cases of missing people, or stolen things, or outlaws on the run as a ’case’ to ‘solve’. Going through mystery dungeons is just a byproduct of hunting down criminals rather than being something they actively are seeking out. o, in essence they function a bit more like the Rescue Teams in the first games, but they exist in an actual organization rather than a many individual teams.

As for Pokemon assignments, I’ve already done the cast of THH, which you can find here (perhaps I’ll make a Mystery Dungeon masterpost)I haven’t done the second games cast yet, but stay tuned, because I may have found a way to include them. I may include some of D3′s cast as higher ups in the society, and I haven’t played V3 yet, so no comment on their inclusion.

The Ultimate talents may or may not have an impact? I haven’t decided yet. But Makoto’s role of “The Ultimate Hope” is important (I’ll reveal it one day).

I certainly can write up a what-if type of scenario like that, but it’ll have to be on the back burner for a bit. I’ve got another mystery dungeon request in the askbox, and some personal writing stuff I would also like to get done (Which may or may not be Naegiri related, who knows? Hahahahaha I’m so trash for them)

Something I find interesting about ContestShipping is the fact that two of Drew’s Pokemon are based off of the word masquerade: Roserade and, more importantly, Masquerain. The word is a noun meaning a cover-up, or a false show. What’s interesting is that Drew always says that the roses he gives May are for her Beautifly and not her. This is essentially a masquerade. And what’s more, we know that he caught Surskit to face May’s Beautifly. For all we know, he very well could have done this hoping that she might catch on without him having to lessen his pride and still be “cool”, i.e. not having to tell her himself. At the very least, it could be an implication from the writers.
